Column Upgrades & Options
Oversized and custom welded columns add visual weight to the overall look of a shelter. Large square, round and rectangular columns are available with or without decorative bands. Also available are columns with stepped bases, and multi-columns with multiple vertical posts.
Column heights can be extended to raise the height of a shelter, or shortened to fit on top of field built masonry pedestal bases. Optional knee bracing can be designed into most column designs, as illustrated below, at right.
